Service Description
Join Sarah Greer, MS, CCC-SLP (she/her), a Speech-Language Pathologist and Lactation Counselor from Evergreen Therapy and Consulting for an information-packed session about starting solid foods with your infant. We will cover readiness for solid foods, safe food preparation by age, strategies to support your child's feeding skills, and ways to foster positive mealtimes as your child grows. This class covers various approaches to infant feeding and will give you tools to confidently move into the exciting world of solid foods with your little one! This class is best for caregivers of children ages 2 to 9 months, but may also be appropriate for slightly older children still navigating the transition to solid foods. Children are enthusiastically invited! Registration fee includes up to 2 caregivers + children. Reduced rate options are available in an effort to make this event affordable for all - please choose the rate that feels most appropriate for your family. Class will be held on August 18 12:30-2:00 in the Kidzu Nest, which is inside University Place Mall.
